Elna eXperience 550

The Elna eXperience 550 Computerized Sewing Machine was designed for versatile use, delivering stress-free sewing. Equipped with smart features and settings that improve your sewing efficiencies, such as a glide-in stitch reference chart displaying 50 stitches, built-in needle threader, retractable feed dog, extra-high presser foot lift, extension table, one-touch buttons, LCD screen, and much more! One-Touch Buttons
Front and center on the eXperience 550 are six convenient one-touch buttons. The Start/Stop allows you to start or stop sewing with the touch of a button. The Reverse button, when held down, will sew reverse stitches at a low speed. The Auto Lockstitch button will sew a single stitch repeatedly and tie off. The Needle Position button raises/lowers the needle. The Thread Cutter button cuts both the upper and bobbin thread simultaneously. Lastly, the Sewing Speed Controller conveniently slides to adjust the sewing speed.

LCD Screen
The backlight LCD screen shows you the selected stitch, presser foot recommendations, the stitch length, and the stitch width. You can change your stitch selection or adjust stitch length and width with the included function keys below the LCD screen.

Extra High Presser Foot Lift
The presser foot lifter raises and lowers the presser foot about 1/4" (0.7 cm) higher than the normal up position for easy removal of the presser feet or to accommodate placing thicker material or heavy fabrics like denim or quilt layers under the foot.

Auto Bobbin Winder
The Elna eXperience 550 Sewing Machine comes with a auto-declutch bobbin winder that makes sewing a breeze. You can keep multiple bobbins on hand, so you have the perfect thread color for every project! You never have to worry about overfilling your bobbin; the machine automatically stops when it detects that your bobbin is full.

Needle Threader
The eXperience 550 features a built-in needle threader that saves valuable time by threading the needle with just one simple action removing the guesswork, near-misses, and frustration!

7-Piece Retractable Feed Dog
The Elna eXperience 550 has a 7-piece feed dog system that ensures a consistent, uniform feed on each and every fabric type. Whether the material is thick or thin, the 7-piece feed dog will stay in constant contact with the fabric, warranting even feeding and clean stitches. Need to lower the feed dogs? Simply flip a switch located underneath the free arm bed on the back of the machine.

50 Built In Stitches
A select range of 50 functional yet beautiful decorative stitches and stunning effects to personalize your creations are built right into this machine! Featured right on the side of the eXperience 550 is a glide-in stitch reference chart for easy access and storage.

LED Lighting
Compared to conventional lighting, LED lighting provides a brighter and shadow-free illumination on the eXperience 550. Power-saving and eco-friendly LED bulbs are a more innovative solution altogether. LED bulbs don't put off much heat and last substantially longer than traditional sewing machine bulbs.
